Our Story
A Legacy of Strategic Guidance and Innovation
Founded in 1996 by Tracy Morgan as Brandywine Marketing Associates, the firm began by helping growing companies and nonprofits strengthen strategy, business plans, and communications.
In 2010, certification in SchellingPoint Alignment Optimization expanded its capabilities, leading to a new name — North Star Strategies — and a broader team of consultants and partners.
Two years later, North Star launched COMPASS, an affordable planning resource for nonprofits and faith communities. Built collaboratively with ministers, nonprofit leaders, and business experts, COMPASS applied alignment technology to help small mission-driven organizations create clear, actionable plans for achieving their goals.
Today, North Star Strategies continues to blend proven methodologies with practical experience, guiding leaders through strategic planning, scenario design, and collaboration across sectors.
